50th Anniversary:
You should be aware by now that 2006 is the club’s 50th Anniversary. To commemorate this we intend to set up a club stand at Hidden Earth, we will issue a commemorative newsletter, and of course we will be having an Anniversary Dinner. This will be on Saturday 23rd September at The Quality Hotel, on the Gloucester Road, Cheltenham (it used to be the White House Hotel). It will be a hot buffet dinner, with the price around £20. For those of you who don't want to travel afterwards, double rooms will be available at £50 for B&B, single rooms at £35.

We still don’t have an anniversary t-shirt design. Your ideas are welcome.

Joint Caving - Meets with the Royal Forest Of Dean Caving Club:
The list of caving meets (see the Events Diary) is being distributed to the Forest Club, to encourage a better turnout and make for more enjoyment. So far this has resulted in 2 excellent trips (OFD II and Miss Grace's Lane Cave). They're not a bad bunch, after all!

Ireland At Easter:
The club used to go to caving in Ireland (both north and south) a lot. The caves are still as exciting as ever, so if anyone is interested in going for the long Easter weekend (14 – 17 April), contact Dave Appleing.

Raffle Prizes:
Jon Maisey has asked me to remind you all to keep the club raffles in mind. So if you have some interesting items (eg previous raffle prizes, unwanted Christmas presents) that you would like to donate as prizes, wrap them up (ie disguise them!) and pass them to Jon.
